    Re: divisons in bball?

i was told that it will be the same as football. each region is in charge of coming up with a points system or something similar to determine a playoff system. basketball will be the model for baseball and other sports the following season. (2008-2009)

Definately.. Some on here disagree, but to be honest, I truly believe that we had what it took this year had bad luck not struck.. But oh well.. I feel like we might can be big time contenders again next year with the divisions.

Won't this diminish the acheivement of winning a state championship? Can't you just see some older guy(meaning my age) saying "well back in my day it was tougher to win the state".

Va. Preps says the it has been approved that boys and girls basketball will be two divisions next season. Only single A will be split for the first year and that is on a trial basis.
